Special Activities Ministry

Our Mission

We are dedicated to the use of electronic and visual means to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We hope that we can use these varied forms of communication to aid in the Christian development of those seeking our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and helping them in their daily walk.

Goal

The goal is to utilize the below services not only to Lighthouse Baptist Church but more importantly to those who may be outside of the walls of Lighthouse Baptist Church. We aim to minister to senior citizens, the sick and shut-in, and to reach those who are without a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  These when added to ministering and teaching of God’s Holy word will help in the complete development of the child of GOD.

Audio Visual and Web

This ministry's focus is to help church members to connect with God in worship through the use of music, media, and the visual arts.  It is our mission to provide the highest quality audio, video, and recorded services within the Church to further enhance the teaching and learning of God’s word.  We also aim through this ministry to reach the spiritual needs of those outside of the church through the use of these services.

Dance

The mission of the Dance ministry is to bring healing and deliverance to the mind, body, soul, and spirit of those who believe in Jesus Christ and to reach those who may not know Christ in a personal way.  The further goal is to encourage worship and praise to God in Dance and the visual arts and take this ministry to those who may not be able to attend on a regular basis.

Awards

The mission of this ministry is to recognize those who have given above and beyond of their talents in a way that reflects their belief in the Love displayed by Jesus Christ to us and the furtherance of mankind.  These awards are also for those who have distinguished themselves over a long period of service to Lighthouse Baptist Church and to GOD Almighty.
