Pastor Calvin Johnson is a native of  Fayetteville, North Carolina

  At the age of 19 he joined the United States Air Force and served for twenty years. After retiring from the military, he continued to work for the military until he retired from the Pentagon..
While in the military, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Human Resources (HR) Management.   He also completed course requirements and received the Degree of Certificate in Pastoral Ministry from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary on May 18, 2001.  He is currently working toward a Masters Degree in Biblical/Theological Studies.   He is married to Burnell (Anthony) and they have four daughters and  nine grand children
