DEACON'S MINISTRY

The Lighthouse Deacon Ministry seeks to the follow the biblical example established by the original disciples as being Spirit-filled deacons who were chosen and set aside to be servants. We, the Deacons, are to assist the Pastor and staff in performing pastoral duties and meeting the needs of the congregation and the surrounding communities by: proclaiming the gospel to believers and unbelievers; caring for church members and others in the community; and leading the Church to accomplish its mission through worship, evangelism, discipleship, ministry, and fellowship.
